Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-15
These terms govern your use of GoodJob, a personal CRM for the job hunt. By creating an account you agree to them. They're short and written in plain language on purpose.
What GoodJob is
GoodJob helps job seekers track applications, manage contacts, surface AI-powered context on opportunities, and stay on top of follow-ups. We provide the software, the database, and the AI enrichment. You provide the job hunt.
Your account
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your credentials secure.
- You must be 16 or older to use GoodJob.
- One person, one account. Sharing an account with others isn't supported and may break features that assume single-user data.
- If your credentials are compromised, sign out of all sessions and reset your password right away.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use GoodJob to scrape, harvest, or sell contact data.
- Send spam or unsolicited outreach using contacts surfaced by our AI.
- Reverse-engineer the service, probe it for security flaws (report them instead — see Contact below), or use it to attack other systems.
- Resell or sublicense access to the product.
- Upload content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates a third party's terms of service.
- Automate interactions with the product in a way that materially affects other users or our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. We'll tell you why when we can.
Your data is yours
You own everything you put into GoodJob — jobs, contacts, notes, reminders, resumes. We store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time.
Our product is ours
The GoodJob software, brand, UI, and the AI prompts we've crafted are our intellectual property. You get a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the product while your account is active. That license ends when your account does.
AI-generated content
GoodJob uses large language models (Anthropic Claude and others) to enrich job data, suggest contacts, draft outreach, and tailor resume content. AI output can be wrong. Verify anything you act on — especially contact names, emails, salary ranges, and company facts — before sending external communications.
Payments and pricing
GoodJob is currently free during the early-access period. If we introduce paid tiers, we'll notify you in advance, you'll choose whether to upgrade, and your existing data stays accessible under whatever plan you choose.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose security/legal risk. On termination, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
GoodJob is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it reliable, accurate, and secure, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free output, or that the product will fit any specific purpose. Use it as a tool, not a guarantee.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoodJob and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the greater of $50 USD or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page if we change how the service works in a way that materially affects users. If we make a material change, we'll email you and give you at least 14 days to react before the change takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
